Data scientist required to apply data analytics and data analysis tools to predict data solutions in the oilfield domain, (Reservoir Simulation and Field Development Planning).

You will apply data science and machine learning automation tools to gain insight from raw data.

• Applying mathematical methods & techniques to real world problems.

• Using techniques, tools and algorithms to model predictive analysis.

• Data Science tooling e.g. R, SQL, Hadoop, Hive

• Development where needed e.g. C++, Java, Delphi, Python to make the models work.

• Working in an Agile development environment.

• Telemetry capture using Google Analytics.

• Data visualization e.g. Tableau, Spotfire

This role will suit a highly experienced and ambitious pre-construction professional looking for the next step in their career, the Pre Construction Manager will take full responsibility for overseeing technically challenging bids within the major projects division, and report directly in to the Pre Construction Director.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge across the construction phases; a high level of commercial acumen and be able to coordinate both the design and estimating resources assigned to each bid; producing high quality, qualitative bid submissions on time, and within budget.

• Concept through to final installation of Fall Protection and suspended access equipment

• Managing labour, ordering materials, problem solving, liaising with clients

• Good internal industry training

• Company vehicle with work on construction sites in and around London

You will be working closely with a data scientist and wider digital marketing teams with a core focus on data analytics, insight generation, marketing dashboards and reporting, pre & post digital campaign effectiveness & measurement, as well as optimizing various digital customer journeys and tracking through tag management. Hands on data analysis, data manipulation & extraction as well as visualization will all be part of your dynamic day to day.

• Gather and understand user requirements

• UAT preparation, report bugs and errors to development teams

• Strong in analyzing and understanding business specifications, testing requirements and developing detailed Test plans, Test cases, Test scripts, Test Scenarios.

• Dynamic and assertive team player with a strong inclination to improve and optimize process development and implementation.

• Supporting local applications and infrastructure operation

• Coordinating with internal/external resources to achieve business requirements

• Support on IT compliance and Auditing activities

This is a senior hands-on role, working on AWS cloud services developing global machine learning products analysing time series data from IoT devices.
